Man burned after SUV hits transformer

While some neighbors ran from the flames, Roland Sanchez ran toward them.

Sanchez, a veteran Miami Beach firefighter/paramedic, came to the aid of a man who was badly burned when a Florida Power & Light transformer box exploded and caught fire Saturday in Kendall.

Thank You Miami Beach. Love You All, The Hernandez Family.

Adonis, Javier and Alex, together with the other Fire Rescue members that assisted are our heroes. This is truly a miracle. My children have a father today thanks to all of them and the magnificient staff at Mount Sinai. We have felt this City coming together for a common cause. Our family has received so much love from residents, city employees, everyone. We are forever grateful. God knew that for Tony to survive this, he had to be among all these Angels. I want to tell you that he is in great spirits. He is walking up and down the hallways at Mount Sinai, happy to be alive and thanking God for healing him. These Angels saved him from actually having a Heart Attack. He has suffered no losses as the result of this incident. His memory is perfect, his motor skills are perfect, his arteries are clear and his heart did not suffer damage. It truly is a miracle and yes, the stars and the moon where lined up for him. THANK YOU MIAMI BEACH. LOVE YOU ALL, THE HERNANDEZ FAMILY.
